Ariane

from Miroirs et Mythes by Phusis

/

about

====
Sudden change of atmosphere. Lightness, onirism,love succeed to distress, like a mirror to Icare's idealism. Ariadne is famous for having helped Theseus and then having been left by him. The myth also tells that she made several children with Dionysos before he was recognised as a divinity.

lyrics

Femme coquillage
Rivée au récif de ma mémoire
Tu exhales un parfum
D'embrun
Ecume blanche tu danses
Tu tends tes hanches au marin
Devenu dieu
Dans le creux de tes valves
Un rayon caresse tes vagues
Et naissent des nuages
Chassés par le vent

====
Shellfish woman
Tied to the reef of my memory
You exhale a sea spray smell

White foam you dance
You hold your hips out to the sailor
And he becomes a god
In the hollow of your valves
A ray caresses your waves
And clouds were born
Thrown out by the wind
